Lourdes Spring 2025

It was in Lourdes. A few days of grace, encounters, and silence at the heart of the bustle. And this year, something new: for the first time, the pilgrimage was accompanied, enriched, and extended digitally thanks to MyChurch.

The app was tested in real conditions, on the ground, by pilgrims, organizers, and companions. A small-scale experiment, but already promising.

A living, shared, prayerful space
Throughout the stay, we used the MyChurch platform to:

  • publish daily articles recounting the highlights of the pilgrimage,
  • share photos of the grotto, processions, and moments of fraternity,
  • transmit prayer intentions or spiritual texts,
  • coordinate activities and groups more easily.

Each day, participants could check on their phone a summary of the day, testimonies, or even the morning homily.

One app, an extended connection
This real-life test confirmed one thing: MyChurch does not replace the encounter — it extends it. After Lourdes, participants could relive the experience, reread the articles, comment, and stay connected. The app became a shared pilgrimage journal, accessible everywhere, at any time.
